For the post of Maintainers, the selection methodology will comprise two-stage process – Written Test followed by Document verification & Medical examination in Bee-one (B-1) category.
The test will be of 100 questions Technical Knowledge (40 questions), Gujarati language (20 questions), Logical ability & Reasoning (15 questions), Quantitative aptitude (10 questions) and General English (15 questions).
All questions are to be attempted compulsorily. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every unattempted question/for every wrong answer/for an instance of multiple answers against a question. If a candidate does not know the answer to a particular question, he/she may mark option E on the OMR sheet for that question. Marking Option E against a question will be treated as an attempt and will not invite a negative marking.
Duration of the test will be 120 minutes (2 hours).
Gujarati language test is only of qualifying nature. Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks in the Gujarati language test i.e. 60% for General category and 50% for reserved categories (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS), to be considered for selection. However, the marks obtained in Gujarati language test will not be included for the calculation of the cutoff score.
