Selection of a candidate for training slot of a unit of Eastern railway will be on the basis of merit prepared in respect of all eligible candidates who apply against the notification. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of data/details filled up by candidates in the online application form.
The Select list for Document Verification (DV) will be on the basis of average of marks in the Matriculation and ITI.
Merit list will be drawn for eligible candidates taking the average of percentage marks obtained by the candidates In both matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and should also possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
Jamalpur Workshop (for Jamalpur, Asansol and Malda Division): This is to inform that the Document Verification (DV) for engagement of Act Apprentices for training in designated units of Eastern Railway (in terms of Apprentice Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992) against Notification No. RRC/ER/Act Apprentices/2024-25 is scheduled to be held on and from 10/02/2025 to 03/03/2025 (Except 15/02/2025, 16/02/2025, 22/02/2025, 23/02/2025 and 26/02/2025) at Jamalpur Workshop (for Jamalpur, Asansol and Malda) as per the schedule finalized by this unit.
Kanchrapara Workshop (for Kanchrapara Workshop and Sealdah Division): This is to inform that the Document Verification (DV) for engagement of Act Apprentices for training in designated units of Eastern Railway (in terms of Apprentice Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992) against Notification No. RRC/ER/Act Apprentices/2024-25 is scheduled to be held on and from 17/02/2025 to 26/02/2025 (Except 22/02/2025 and 23/02/2025) at Kanchrapara Workshop (for Kanchrapara and Sealdah) as per the schedule finalized by this unit.
Liluah Workshop (for Liluah Workshop and Howrah Division): This is to inform that the Document Verification (DV) for engagement of Act Apprentices for training in designated units of Eastern Railway (in terms of Apprentice Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992) against Notification No. RRC/ER/Act Apprentices/2024-25 is scheduled to be held on and from 04/03/2025 to 13/03/2025 (Except 08/03/2025 and 09/03/2025) at Liluah Workshop (for Liluah Workshop and Howrah division) as per the schedule finalized by this unit.
