Selected candidates engaged as Apprentices shall undergo apprenticeship training for a period of one year and will be paid a stipend at the prescribed rate during the training period, as per As per extant rules & directives issued by Railway Board from time to time.
The selection of eligible applicants for training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 will be based on a merit list, which shall be prepared by taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained in both Matriculation (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) and the ITI examination, with equal weightage given to both.
